The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a U.S. government program that helps many low income households pay for broadband service and internet connected devices.

The ACP is administered by USAC with oversight from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

What is the ACP (Affordable Connectivity Program)?

The ACP is a U.S. government program run by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program to help low-income households pay for internet service and connected devices like a laptop or tablet.

If your household is eligible for the ACP, you could receive:

  • Up to a $30/month discount on your internet service
  • Up to a $75/month discount if your household is on qualifying Tribal lands
  • A one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer* (with a co-payment of more than $10 but less than $50)
  • A low cost service plan that may be fully covered through the ACP*

Crescomm Wifi offers a monthly ACP Benefit but does not provide the ACP one-time device discount. To receive the connected device discount, consumers need to enroll in the ACP with a  participating provider that offers connected devices (Note: not all internet company offer device discounts). The participating internet provider will provide the discount to the consumer. Per ACP rules, only one monthly service discount and one device discount is allowed per household.

Who is Eligible for the ACP?

A household may be eligible if it qualifies for the Lifeline Program or has an income at or below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines for a household of that size and that state:

A household may be eligible if, at it at least, one member of the household participate in one of these programs:

  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps
  • Medicaid
  • Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA) (including Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program (Section 8 Vouchers), Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA)/202/811, Public Housing, and Affordable Housing Programs for American Indians, Alaska Natives or Native Hawaiians)
  • Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit
  • Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program, including at U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Community Eligibility Provision schools
  • Received a Federal Pell Grant in the current award year

STEP 1 – Do I Qualify

STEP 2 – Apply for the ACP

  • Now that you’ve reviewed the qualifications for ACP, it’s time to fill out the ACP eligibility application. Program rules prevent Crescomm Wifi from doing this step for you. After completing the ACP eligibility application and receiving confirmation of your eligibility to participate in the program and receive your discounted service.

STEP 3 – Once you have qualified and received confirmation from the National Verifier that you are eligible to participate.  Please call Crescomm Wifi at 360-928-0000 to enroll in ACP with Crescomm Wifi as your service provider.
